New cookies policy

The Publishing Training Centre launched our new website in December 2011. The new site still contains all the information we always had, but we now have an extended shopping cart function, a discussion forum and the ability to create connections with other users on the site. These changes have meant that our use of cookies has changed. Please have a look at our Cookies Policy for a list of the main cookies we serve.

What are cookies?

A cookie is a piece of information in the form of a very small text file that is placed on an internet user's hard drive. It is generated by a web page server, which is basically the computer that operates a web site. The information the cookie contains is set by the server and it can be used by that server whenever the user visits the site. A cookie can be thought of as an internet user's identification card, which tell a web site when the user has returned. (from www.aboutcookies.org)

We do not use cookies to collect personal information about you, but if you would prefer to restrict or block the cookies from our site, you can do this via your browser setting. To find out how to change your cookies settings in the browser you use, you can visit the browser help pages or www.aboutcookies.org, which contains information on a number of browsers. It also has more information about cookies.

Please be aware that restricting cookies will have an impact on the functionality of some parts of our site. For example, you need to be registered and logged in to post messages on the forum or make a purchase. You will need to enable cookies to remain logged in to the site.

We hope you will enjoy the new functions on our site. If you have any questions about this, please contact us on This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
