Are you expected to design documents in a publishing environment, but lack any training in design? Then this course is ideal for you. Working on a PC in QuarkXPress or InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat, you'll learn how to:

create your own designs from start to finish
appreciate the aesthetic considerations of typesetting
make good use of colour
manage and manipulate images
discover the variety of design solutions for any task.

After this practical course you'll have gained the skills and confidence you just can't get from battling away on your own. Whether you produce leaflets, flyers, posters, catalogues or forms, you'll be capable of producing work that does the job - and that you can be proud of.

Your tutor

Ged Lennox trained in fine art before joining a commercial studio where he gained experience in design, layout and illustration. He now works as a consultant specialising in computer design, illustration and DTP.
