This course will help you win publishing contracts by understanding just what societies are really looking for.

Winning and retaining a journal publishing contract with a society is a highly competitive arena. Your image as a publisher goes a long way towards a successful bid, but the proposal document and its surrounding communications provide an opportunity to:

  • demonstrate what you know and understand about the society
  • express the kind of relationship you can offer
  • present the financial and non-financial factors available.

By the end of the course, you’ll know how to prepare a proposal document that will make exactly the right impression. And you’ll be able to arrive at the shortlist presentation, confident in your understanding of the society’s needs.
