Have you been using Quark for a few months and want to improve your efficiency with the software? Do you watch designers and want to know the short cuts they use? Perhaps you've been using Quark for some time but never received any formal training. If so, this course is for you.
It will help you polish your skills by focusing on the features you really need in long documents, such as books, journals, magazines and newsletters, and in shorter documents, such as ads and sales sheets. It will allow you to focus on the format most relevant to you in the practice sessions, while exploring advanced aspects of the software through taught sessions.
The aim is to provide you with training that fits as closely as possible with your day-to-day work. You can even bring your own files to work on during the course.
You'll have sole use of a PC, using QuarkXPress version 7. We restrict numbers to eight delegates per course to ensure a high level of personal tuition. Before attending, you'll need a good working knowledge of Quark, including the basics of styles, text flow, images and typography. You can get this from QuarkXPress 1.
