Many regard QuarkXPress as the industry standard page make-up and design tool. But how much do you know about it? Enrol on this course and you will:

 

  • develop new skills, fast
  • return to work able to produce and improve your own material
  • be able to talk to designers and typesetters with greater confidence.

 

If you haven't used QuarkXPress before, the introductory course covers the basics necessary for creating and editing documents.


For more experienced users we also offer QuarkXPress 2.


This course offers you sole use of a PC, using QuarkXPress version 7. We restrict numbers to a maximum of eight delegates on each course, to guarantee a high level of personal tuition and assistance.

Your tutor
Sally Hughes is a freelance trainer and consultant specialising in DTP applications, typography and document design. She works with both Mac and PC platforms and has authored a report on the use of information technology in editorial practice. Sally teaches on the PTC's QuarkXPress, Photoshop and Acrobat courses as well as lecturing in publishing at Oxford Brookes University.


We also offer an Introduction to InDesign.


Note that most of our open courses can also be run as in company events.
