Sue Davis

Sue Davis is a web editor, designer, content strategist and consultant with over 16 years experience.

After studying graphic and information design, she started her career as an information scientist (aka a librarian). She moved on from helping her readers find offline and online resources, to creating and designing the resources herself.

Since 1995 she has created hundreds of websites for clients ranging from small charities and private businesses to large NGOs such as UNICEF and global enterprises. Sue was at Channel 4 Television for four years producing and designing websites. Whilst there she designed one of the first live blogs, for Time Team - blogging whilst the archaeologists found new treasures.

Her passion is demystifying the web for non-techie audiences. She has presented TV series for the BBC (Computers Don't Bite) and Sky TV (Download). Sue has spoken at conferences such as Cybermummy 2011 (on Blogging essentials and Getting to know and love WordPress).

Sue currently helps clients with SEO specifications and monitoring, website metrics and analytics, performs expert usability reviews, conducts competitive reviews, advises on enterprise blogging, and designs and structures websites.

She lives in Kent with her daughter, husband and 1970 campervan.
