Philip Walters

Philip Walters was Chief Executive of Hodder Education, one of the largest UK educational publishers, until 2009. He then became Chair of Rising Stars Ltd, another educational publisher, a Trustee of Yale University Press (London), and a non-executive director of NelsonCroom and Scottish Book Source. He is an Associate of the Institute of Ideas, Chair of Book Aid International, and a Director of the Publishers' Licensing Society. He was awarded an MBE for services to educational publishing in 2010.
