This one day course introduces HTML5 from a publishing perspective. HTML5 will be central to the future evolution of digital publishing on the web. The course will provide a roadmap of HTML5 for digital publishers. Rich media features, including video and canvas are demonstrated. Example code will be provided.

Your Tutor

John Coumbe has worked in new media since 1992. He is an experienced freelance developer, working with clients such as Oxford University Press and The Guardian. He specialises in ActionScript programming for interactive projects. He has worked as a lecturer at Oxford Brookes University and is an experienced commercial trainer.
